All TerraStar Users 98W and SP98W1 Degradation Resolved

The degradation impacting the TerraStar services on the 98W and SP98W1 satellite has been resolved.

This degradation was observed as a period of increased latency over several minutes due to severe weather in the region of the uplink site at Laurentides in Canada.

This increased latency may have been observed between the times of 03:16 UTC - 05:36 UTC on the 21th May 2023.

No service outage was observed all TerraStar services remained operational on 98W and AORW during this time.
