All TerraStar Users: Inmarsat POR Satellite End of Life 28th February 2021

Inmarsat have given notice that the Inmarsat satellite @ 178 East, known as POR, over which TerraStar deliver part of their global services has been declared End of Life (EOL) and as such will cease transmission on the 28th of February 2021.

Users should not expect any performance degradation in their L-Band reception or their positioning and the change does not require any new firmware updates. Receivers with auto beam assignment will require no manual intervention.
