All Terrastar users 143 service outage update

Please be advised that the Terrastar Service on 143.5E remains unavailable.

The latest update which has been received from Inmarsat is as follows;

Please be advised that recovery procedures to restore services on our Inmarsat I-4F1 Satellite are ongoing.

We anticipate reactivating the payload in approximately 10-12 hours.

This will be followed by a sequenced restoration of services beginning with Classic Aero.

A further update will be provided at approximately 09:00 UTC.

In order to mitigate this the power level of the IOR service has been temporarily increased, this should benefit users near the edge of coverage of the IOR where signal reception may have been marginal previously.

All Terrastar services remain operational on IOR & 98W at this time.
